BACK BACK BACK BACK.

san francisco was great. here's 3 things i'll seriously miss and why, hey, i'm sure you'll agree with me.

1.) they have HUGE factory outlets. which are clusters of shops, which i might add are really genuine stores, which sell stuff at really really really cheap prices. imagine, i bought my adicolour shirt for 10 sing bucks! haha, i love those places. good for retail therapy. you shop a lot, but your cash does'nt burn out that fast.

2.) they sell HUGE portions of GREAT tasting food. at really really cheap prices. imagine, my shrimp and jalepeno jambalaya sauce futuciini pasta tossed with chime and chicken which i ate at The CheeseCake Factory for 15 sing bucks. and the portion is 3 TIMES what you normally get in singapore. plus it tastes superb. you eat till you drop, but your cash does'nt burn out that fast.

3.) they have HUGE neighbourhood supermarkets that sell almost everything. i repeat NEIGHBOURHOOD. its like thier idea of a hougang mall ntuc is a Giant supermarket. way cool. and plus, this supermarket's in the mountains.

so yeah, i miss san francisco. the snow and breath-taking scenary. definately NOT the cold temperatures. but it feels great to be home. the soft winds blowing through my window in place of the gusts of snow whipping my NorthFace jacket-covered face. the sound of family eating beef noodles cooked by mama in place of eating restaurant food. the voices of close friends in place of strangers all around you. it feels great to be home.

and! contrary to popular belief, america is actually a prety cheap place to go to! we spent quite little for the amount of stuff we bought. so yeah, its most probably the air fare that stings your pockets.

i don't like sitting in one place for 18 hours at a stretch, so yeah, i hated those flights. esp. when the person in front of me i jerking his chair up and down like its his own osim massage chair which got spoilt so he's trying to get it to work.

and! i got gifts for everybody! will pass them to you when we get the chance to meet!

sadly, i did'nt find a super-heroe store. thats what im dissapointed in. and sorry evon, the wakeboard's were too ex.
fret not! i'll continue searching here in singapore! i WILL get the stuff i promised.

work starts on monday. at 25bucks a day, its not really attractive. heck, i don't even know how long i have to work each day. but its for the experience like mum says, and i think thats true.

hmm, to end of this holiday post, it feels good to be home. haha, it really does. family and friends.

and i, missed you the most.
