DAYDREAMING
i want to visit...
Spain for a backpacking trip around the country side and to visit the Eternal City.
Alaska and take in the wonder of God's creation by seeing the Northern Lights.
Lourdes and check out all the religious stuff there.
The Mediterranean with Zihui and eat every single gorgeous piece of ciabatta or seafood there.
Korea with Evon Lim and try to find her a future husband.
Brazil with Manulo where we'll just sit at Rio De Janeiro's beaches with a cold beer in hand and watch the countless babes walk pass.
London's Soho district with Justin for some serious shopping.
Paris with Justin for even more serious shopping and of course Haute Coutour.
San Francisco with Mum and DiDi 'cause we loved it so much.
New York with Mum and DiDi 'cause we loved it so much too.
Mali with Dad for that father-son fishing trip i've been longing for.
New Zealand with GuGu and family along with Grandparents for a trip so scenic and so relaxed we'd never want to leave.
Africa to see the animals.
Switzerland to relive my very, very first holiday.
Cannes in France with Joan for a trip so fun, crazy, effervescent and yet so beautiful we'd never want it to end.
Wherever Coldplay's performing next and subsequently, the backstage of that concert.
India with Didi to meditate at the Taj Mahal and perform weird indian dances around the pillars to entertain ourselves.
Germany with Cheryl so we can eat sausages, pork knuckles and all sorts of tasty German (don't ask why) cuisine long time.
Tok Mak for a bowl of meepok with Grandparents.
The old Charlton Park swimming pool where Dad taught me how to swim.
The kitchen in the old house at Poh Huat Road where Mum taught me spelling and math every night.
The kid days with DiDi and MeiMei where we'd play retarded games and sing random songs all day long.
GuGu's house for a good talk with her over noodles, eggs and ribena.
The old gravel trail with Zihui to relive our over-imaginative childhoods.
The drain at the back of the house with DiDi where we 'fished' for 4hours in vain when we were kids.
All the times i've ever seen Joan smile.
The Saturday mornings spent watching Pokemon and imitating them with DiDi when we were kids.
Sentosa with all my friends for just a really good time of partying and fun over a 3day period complete with drink and free hotel stays.
and lastly,
all the times when i could 'feel' God near me, beside me. that feeling that makes you want more. that feeling that leaves you thinking. and smiling.
