IRRITATE ME

justin tells me that there's this girl in his class, who wants to be, or thinks she's indie. so she goes around saying stuff like,

'oh man, tagging on blogs is so UN-INDIE. imagine i was never here'.

this was found on someone's tagboard. wtf? if tagging's un-indie to you, why still do it? make up your mind.

'I AM SOOOO INDIE'.

ok. so you're indie. whoop-de-doo! why don't you prove it, and don't breath air and start breathing carbon monoxide? i mean, you're SO indie huh? so i guess that means you're freaking different from everyone else?

it's people like her who cause indie to become mainstream. and mainstream to become indie. all because it seems that she so desperately wants to be seen as indie. not going into the debate of why. think of it as, The Sounds Of Animals Fighting taking the place of Rihanna.

sorry babe, it okay if you want to be indie and do obscure stuff. but don't go spoil it all and PROCLAIM TIME AND AGAIN that you're indie. it makes you look like wannabe-ish.

you don't see bimbos going around and saying, 'OH MAHH GOSH! I'M SO LIKE, SUCHA BIMBO? LIKE TOTALLY!'
they're bimbos cause they act bimbos and people can tell. if you're THAT indie, let your indie actions do the talking then. why the need to annouce,

'HEY PEOPLE. LOOK AT ME. I'M INDIE'.

(or something to that effect).

lastly, you contradict yourself. you want to be indie. but your actions make indie mainstream. you're freaking becoming the total opposite of what you want to be!

it's like becoming a whore when you wanted to be a nun in true fact.
