ARIGATO, ALIGATO, AGINOMOTO...WHATEVER

here it is, the long overdue Japan post.

so i was in Osaka with my family, namely my Mum and Brother, for a week. let me introduce them to you.

MUM.

BROTHER.

now that that's done, let's get down to business. i don't wanna let my post become sermon-ish, so...

PEEKTUREEEES!

DAY1.

At the airport.

Tired lah.

DAY2.

Universal Studios.

"Aiyah, Bryan, why you must do funny face and spoil the picture?"

We attempt to get ourselves in the mood for dinosaurs while waiting for the Jurassic Park ride.

This picture. I likeeee...

WOW I AM SO VERY HAPPY WE ARE AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.

DAY3.

We the Zen Brothers, Cedric and Bryan.

The walls of Osaka Castle.

Mum and I.

Saintly music thunders in the background.

Enjoying traditional street snacks.

The Mum, The Brothers and The Castle.

Your friendly neighborhood Samurai.

Super-hero Kawaaii De-su family!

We damn cool, take Neoprint. This is at the viewing deck of some famous building.

"Oh Jack! I'm flying!"

Meditation 101

Bento for dinner in the Hotel room.

DAY4.

Waiting for the bullet train to Hiroshima.

Cool bullet train. Even cooler Mum.

On the boat to Miyajimo (spelling?) Island.

The island. Quaint, Homely and Rustic. Just the way i like it. :D

Shrine in the Sea. I like this photo.

They cooler than cucumber lah.

YA DAH! (in traditional Japanese wear)

Cedric says: "I also can!"

DAY5.

Nothing much for this day 'cause we visited the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Memorial. We spent most of the day in the museum where photos were not allowed. I guess it's fine. Moving on should be the only thing to do for such a horrific event in the history of humanity. Man and the struggles for power. Urgh.

The Memorial.

DAY6.

Back in Osaka!

Near the Harbour Area. See that shirt? I stupidly used wet tissue paper to clean some sauce i spilled on it! Now it's ruined! SIGH!

The Aquarium. Fanstastic place!

I don't wanna bore you guys with too many pictures of Marine Life (though they all are very colourful and interesting) so i'll just show the main attraction of The Aquarium; Mr. Whale Shark.

RARGHHH!

Cuckoo-ness runs in the blood.

And presenting the Frogman! Yeah, that's the frog Dana, haha!

Wanna know why we're so happy? 'CAUSE IT'S SHOPPING TIME BAYBEH!

HUGE 5-storey Zara. The Men's section was a tad disappointing though.

DAY7.

The 7th day was spent mostly at scenic spots in Nara and Kyoto. So...i'm kinda lazy to put the pictures up, haha. If you want to see, just tell me! I'd be more than happy to.

Group photo! At the Lantern Shrine in Nara, one of the many places we visited. Taken by a kind Serbian who was on our tour bus. It was funny, 'cause we were like "Photo Partners". We take pictures for him, he take for us.

Beef rice for dinner. This wins Yoshinoya hands down any day. And it's cheaper too. Sigh..I love Japan.

LASTDAY.

The last day was spent mostly at the Kansai Airport 'cause we had an morning flight home.

Mum and Brother at the Departure Hall of Kansai Airport.

The Frogman needs his rest. I didn't even know Mum took this photo till we reached Singapore! Crafty fools.

Thus, the Japan trip came to an end. I sure miss the place; the efficiency, the great service, how everything seemed so perfect and how we didn't pespire even though average temperatures were 35degrees Celsius. I'd encourage you to go there if you get the chance to! It's a wonderful place, so rich in culture yet so technologically advanced.

Ok, I shall stop gushing about Japan. (I am trying very hard to stop)

Friends! I have gifts for all of ya'll! They're not really uber or fancy, but they're really from the heart! Will pass them to you when I get your "postcards" done!

And with that, I end the Japan Post. Remember, if you want to see any of the other photos, just tell me!
