with the one giving in hoping that it is compromise that will keep what they have?
then again, when does giving in become just a facade?
to hide the ensueing problem that you're letting yourself become used un-consciously?
is what we have like a fragile stack of uno-stacko?
held together by compromise?
kept from falling by one party's willingness to give in or let go?
and which breaks into pieces when that party decides to speak up?
then you ask yourself,
am i part of the used?
and you ponder over the conundrum ;
when does compromise become a liability?
when does compromise hold you back?
when does compromise shut you up?
when does compromise hurt your pride?
