THINKING
i say joan's blog, and her post was about why was she nice to peoplewho are'nt nice to her. so i started thinking.
i guess you could say, we are morally obliged to be nice to others? and its also what the bible and God says, to love our neighbours as ourselves. for me, its better to be nice to everyone than to be nice to only people who are nice to you. cause then it makes you kind of hypocritical, as if others must be nice to you for you to reciprocate it to them. which defeats the purpose of being nice. then there are those who think being nice to others deserves something in return. for me, having that kind of thinking is also hypocritical. i feel that being nice should be impartial and should come with no strings attached. you don't choose who to be nice to, neither do you expect anything in return for being nice. the world's like that. unfair. if it was fair, we would probably get a sweet for every nice thing we do. but we don't, and thats how things are. yet, we should be nice, cause its good for ourselves and also for others around you. sure..you have to make sacrifices to be nice sometimes, but i'm sure God will remember them, and make those sacrifices justified one day. all in all, being nice is the way to go. whether the other party decides to be nice to you too, should'nt be taken into consideration.
so joan. i think..its good that you're nice to people, even if they are'nt nice to you! cause thats the essnece of being nice. which also means your nice-ness is sincere. which makes it even better. you're a nice person.
so ends another thinking session.
